Ginger Honey Lemon Drink - Flatulence Relief!

POOOOOOOT!!! Some loud and strong, some light and airy, while some others sounded a little watery...  (=_=")

Lately, many friends and family are suffering from "stomach wind" aka Flatulence. Luckily for me, some of them told me about it online rather than let me experience a whiff of their natural fragrance. If only I have smaller nostrils...
So I did a bit of research online and learned that Ginger, Lemon, Peppermint and Cherry are some of the many remedies to expel wind from our tummies. Peppermint and Cherry are not common ingredients found in Singaporeans' homes so I'll be using the other two ingredients instead. This simple recipe is dedicated to everyone out there, who keeps farting away!

LET'S EXPEL ALL!

Simple Ingredients for a Useful Drink
Ginger Honey Lemon Drink (Serves 1 - 2)
Main Ingredients
1 Small Lemon (Cut halves and squeeze the juice out for use)
1/2 tsp Zest from Lemon
1 tsp grated Raw Ginger
2 tsps Honey
2 small Ice Cubes

Steps
1. Pour boiling water into a heat-resistant tumbler (about 500ml)
2. Add Lemon Juice, Lemon Zest, and grated Raw Ginger into the tumbler
3. Close lid and set aside for 15 minutes
4. Open lid and add Ice Cubes to cool down the liquid to lukewarm
5. Stir in the Honey till dissolved
6. Enjoy your drink and the relief!
